William Hsieh

William graduated from the Physiotherapy program at the University of Toronto in 1997. He began his career working in the neurosurgical unit at Wellesley Hospital before joining Humber River Regional Hospital in 1998. There, he worked in neurological rehabilitation, primarily treating individuals recovering from stroke, in outpatient rehabilitation treating post-surgical patients and a wide range of musculoskeletal and pain conditions, and as the Professional Practice Leader for physiotherapists. Since 2003, he has divided his practice between neurological rehabilitation and private practice orthopaedics, including extensive work with individuals living with spinal cord injuries as well as patients recovering from surgery, injury, and chronic pain conditions.
Committed to lifelong learning, William has completed advanced training in NDT/Bobath, post-graduate orthopaedics (Level III), vestibular rehabilitation, acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, and numerous evidence-based rehabilitation courses. He is dedicated to providing individualized, evidence-informed care to help patients achieve their goals and return to the activities that matter most to them.
Outside the clinic, William enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, volunteering in his church and community, and staying active through sports.
